Thursday had to be one of the busiest days I have had in awhile; both personally and professionally. Interviews, errands, birthday parties, it was a busy day. Going home for a lunch was not an option, so I had to make some smart decisions and I believe I was successful.
For lunch, I went to Wendy’s and instead of the typical chicken sandwich and fries I got the BLT Cobb(no bacon or cheese) with the Italian Vinagrette. It was so yummy! Just enough to curb the hungry without being too full.
(Enter super busy schedule)
On of my best friends turned 26 yesterday, so we celebrated at Incredible Pizza. It was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. Who knew playing arcade games could be so fun? It was the four of us, Kasey, her boyfriend, Luke, and Myself. Their 3D Ride Experience thing, don’t remember the name, was so much fun!! Picture quality stunk but when you were falling, it really felt like you were falling. As some of you may know, Incredible Pizza has a buffet with some terrible dieting decisions but suprisingly there was a really nice salad bar with fresh veggies. Took advantage of that and it was worth it and no guilt!
Overall the day taught me that even with a hectic schedule, I can still stick to my diet and not fall off the bandwagon. Really good, motivating feeling. Put that in the win column!
Tonight is my 5k at Silver Dollar City. Pretty excited and also nervous about starting a 5k at 10pm after a long day of work. Hopefully the anticipation of it will give me a nice boost of energy. But since I am working this morning as well, it’s looking like it’s going to beĀ a long day. Fingers crossed I beat my time from the last 5k-can’t wait!!
